This morning you will be picked from your Nairobi accommodation and leave for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will set for an afternoon game drives within the park which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. The mountain offers scenic backgrounds for photography. You will do you game drive till late in the evening and then return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today after your breakfast you will head for a full day game drives. Amboseli is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border and is often referred to as “The home of Elephants” since some of the largest Elephant herds is found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game. You will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha via Nairobi and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take the most eye-catching view of the Escarpment. Proceed to Lake Naivasha which lies in the valley. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch. After lunch you will take a boat ride to Crescent Island game sanctuary. This is a private Wildlife Sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. The island is a submerged rim of a volcanic crater and here, you will walk among the yellow barked “fever trees” with the possibility of seeing various animals such as giraffe, zebra, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, waterbuck, eland, and a great many bird species including fish eagles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
After breakfast you will depart Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara Game Reserve with a stopover at Narok town for lunch before proceeding to Masai Mara where you will arrive late in the afternoon. Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya’s most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. On arrival you will head for an evening game drive till late, return to you lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge
After your breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in search for black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, as well as cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape. In the months of July and August you will have an opportunity to witness the spectacular Annual Wildebeest Migration. The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Masai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them. This is one of the highlights as the animals try and cross the Mara River alive. This is just incredible. Between meals there is optional visit to the Masai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
You will wake up early for a pre-breakfast game dive. After the drive return back for your breakfast. After which you will depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon. You will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
